Get ready for a tail-wagging day out at our very own fun dog show on Saturday 16th August!
Whether your pup is a pampered pooch or a scruffy superstar, there’s a class for every kind of canine. From Waggiest Tail and Most Appealing Eyes to Scruffiest Dog and Judge’s Choice, it’s all about fun, charm, and wagging tails.
Think your pup has what it takes to be Best in Show? Come along and show off those six legs (yep, you and your dog count as one team!)
Entry: £2 per dog (plus parking charge)
Location: Parkland to the right as you enter the estate. Please note this event does not include access to the castle’s visitor route.

If you are a UK taxpayer, you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission; or
- Standard admission
As we operate a Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a choice between the Gift Aid Admission price or standard admission price. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose, just let us know when you come to pay.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10% or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid — an extra 25% — potentially a very significant boost to our funds.
Payment of the additional percentage donation is entirely voluntary, so if you prefer to pay the standard admission please advise our staff at the till point or select the standard admission price toggle below when booking online.
