25th July 2024: Rob Chambers - Gwrych Castle: The Vision for Restoration

Gwrych Castle is a place of the imagination. From its very inception it epitomised a period scholarly medievalism in Britain, a time of political expression and romanticism through architecture and landscape. It still fires our imagination today, even in an unrestored state.

Chambers Conservation have unparalleled experience of working on complex significant historic sites, securing, and delivering successful National Lottery Heritage Fund projects and supporting third-sector clients along what is, potentially, a long but rewarding journey.

During this lecture, Rob Chambers will be unveiling the vision for Gwrych Castle's Castle Core project, and will discuss his plan on achieving this.
