Platinum Jubilee Fun Days

Join us at Gwrych Castle this half term as we begin the Platinum Jubilee celebrations during our Platinum Jubilee Fun Days from 30th May - 31st May.

To celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, we have a jam-packed schedule of family fun to mark the special occasion. Visitors will be treated to craft stalls, face painting, medieval activities, birds of prey shows, refreshments, I’m A Celebrity photo opportunities, plus I’m A Celebrity and Historic tours. Appearances from PAW Patrol characters, Chase and Rubble, will also take place on Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st May only.

PLAN YOUR TRIP

We require all visitors to pre-book their Platinum Jubilee Fun Day tickets online prior to arriving. Tickets aren’t available on arrival. These steps have been taken in order to maintain everybody’s safety and to enable us to manage the flow of visitors coming in and out of the estate.

FACILITIES

  • Parking is included within the admission price
  • Gift Shop
  • We are dog friendly but dogs are to be kept on leads at all times
  • Temporary toilets on site

ACCESSIBILITY

The majority of the main building is currently a ruin so there is currently no public access.

The Castle was built into a hill, subsequently the terrain is uneven with many steps, slopes and steep footpaths throughout the estate. Many of our footpaths are unsuitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs and slopes can be tiring for a person assisting.

Some self-drive three wheeled vehicles, pavement vehicles and powered wheelchairs may have difficulty on the estate’s terrain. Sensible footwear is recommended at all times.
