Admission

Gwrych Castle is one of the most recognisable attractions in the UK due to hosting I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! for two consecutive years.

As is the case with many TV productions filmed on location, built sets are usually removed once filming has finished. However, a few elements have been retained for true I’m A Celebrity fans to enjoy!

PLAN YOUR TRIP

We’re open 7 days a week from 10am to 5:00pm, our last admission is 4pm with the castle shop closing at the same time. The time slots provided are for arrival only, we have no restrictions in terms of how long you can spend at the castle.

We require all visitors to pre-book online prior to arriving and tickets cannot be purchased on arrival. We have taken these steps in order to maintain everybody’s safety and to enable us to manage the flow of visitors coming in and out of the estate.

FACILITIES

  • Parking is included within the admission price
  • Gift Shop
  • We are dog friendly but dogs are to be kept on leads at all times
  • Temporary toilets on site

ACCESSIBILITY

The majority of the main building is currently a ruin so there is currently no public access.

The Castle was built into a hill, subsequently the terrain is uneven with many steps, slopes and steep footpaths throughout the estate. Many of our footpaths are unsuitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs and slopes can be tiring for a person assisting.

Some self-drive three wheeled vehicles, pavement vehicles and powered wheelchairs may have difficulty on the estate’s terrain. Sensible footwear is recommended at all times.
